This home is exclusively for homeless male psychiatric patients. These patients are primarily identified by the volunteers and are rescued with the help of police. They are being closely monitored by the medical and paramedical personnel. Following are the routine activities designed for the patients who are admitted.

Patients are given a clean bath and dressed properly

The Psychiatric Social Worker records patient’s information in a case sheet.

Qualified medical officers do medical examination.

Psychologist assesses the mental status of the patient.

Psychiatrist provide treatment and long term medical care.

Occupational therapist trains them on rehabilitation programmes

Social workers train them to be independent and useful. They also try to identify the background of patients and restore them back to families and society at large.
The team works with the full coordination, interacting with each other to achieve the common goal of rehabilitation of the patients.
Patients are, normally, being referred by police, well wishers, relatives and also other NGOs. At present there are 230 patients who are under the process of rehabilitation. So far 435 patients have been re-united with their families and follow up of their treatment is regularly monitored.
