Dignity Home is a residential rehab facility exclusively for male mentally sick persons wandering on the streets. This home caters to homeless mentally sick persons who are picked up from the streets. The patients are provided with love and compassion, followed by treatment, care and rehab programmes, towards their overall development. They are accepted and treated with
dignity in the community, only if they are useful citizens. Otherwise they are considered as wandering lunatics and will have no identity. Even if they walk on the street nude they are not
treated with sympathy but they are harassed and ridiculed.
